Henry's Lake, Sheridan Lake, Blackfoot Reservoir

Brookie's, Bow's, and Carp

We started off fishing Henry's Lake in the morning, which was a chilly 35 F. but by 2:30p.m. it had finally warmed up to a whole 44 F. This is on the 9th of June! Later in the evening the fishing picked up on Sheridan Lake, with some midges coming off pretty good. Friday provided an opportunity to take my two boys to Blackfoot Reservoir and hook into some carp. Until just recently I had never taken the chance on carp but they have proven to be a fun time.

Cold weather but plenty of fish on Henry's Lake.

A couple of Rainbows on Sheridan Lake--fly fishing only!

Man, it was a fun weekend!!

  2. Henry's has fished pretty good, so far, this year. Last year we saw a lot of brookies and this year is looking about the same. FUN!!!
