Henry's Lake, Brookies, and Yellowstone Cutt's

The weather this time was just warm enough for sandles, barely. The midges (snow fly hatch) are starting to pick up and when the sun gets shining they are just about unbearable. We checked the diet to three of the fish we landed, each was different. Their stomach contents ranged from Midges to Leeches to Scuds. It seemed they each had a different favorite. All of the fish were fat and happy.

Last year we saw a lot of Brookies and this year is looking about the same. Who could complain about a nice fat brooke trout?
